All of us are lifelong learners - from the newest baby to the wisest grandparent and everyone in between. As we explore the natural world, we gain a better understanding of the Earth and our place in the continuum of life. When we participate in that exploration with others, we also build memories as we develop deeper connections with our community. In an effort to strengthen the connections of family and community, and as a testament to the value of lifelong learning, Asheville Farmstead holds monthly Family Discovery Days - free learn-and-play events for all ages. Learn the skills of a naturalist, create art in nature, play in dirt and water, try your hand at growing new plants, and build new relationships. Bring your family and your sense of adventure!
